I might be leaving Atlanta, I dont know yet.
The gas is gone in the apartment, the water is on, but illegally. We cant get it turned on legally for less that $1000. The roomie responsible for the electric took the money and ran to Louisiana, so that gets shut off Monday, and the rest of the roomies are off finding new places to live or moving home. And I am still out a car and a job, and am living off savings which are quickly dwindling to nothing. I might have a car come through Friday, and after that I'll take even fast food as a paycheck, but a place to stay is currently the rub, and I'm not quite sure what to do.
The capper is my grandfather is in the hospital, and at any time it could be necessary for me to take an extended leave to Florida. I havent seen the man in over a year, and now this.
If I wind up leaving, it was nice singing with all of you, and I'm sorry I never got to be part of a performance. I'll miss all of you.

Re: Just So's Y'all Know....
Thu, May 6, 2004 - 3:45 PMKat; I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. allow me to interject something: Sometimes a step backwards can seem seductive, but backtracking to the comfort of family at this stage in your life will effect you for years to come. Keep fighting for alternatives. everyone has missed you at voice rehearsal. I myself have retreated from the city twice, both times were a waste of time... and I missed out on some of my life. the years I spent away are like gohsts of nothing now... dead time spent doing nothing. If you can fight for it; stay here and do shows. Beliveve me, I know how hard life can be. There's always a way though.
tough love from your friend ZhM -
