i moved here a few months ago, and i'm finally starting to get my life stable enough to venture into my creativity again. i've been wanting to get involved with you guys ever since i heard of you...i was involved in a simular sort of troupe back in asheville, nc and miss it greatly. my friend kendra has gone to a few of your meetings. but what i was wondering is, how can i get involved with you? i know you have the singing going on...but what else...and what days? where do i need to go, and what hours?
btw, i have singing experience and play the violin...as well as being an artist...i'm glad that your group seems to be more musically oriented than the last group i was with. they were more performance based...acting, fire, fetish...that sort of thing.

Re: getting involved?
Mon, July 5, 2004 - 9:57 PMits less how, more will.
will you get involved?
the meetings are posted here on this tribe; that's how we handle organization nowadays. read the threads and learn the schedule like the rest of us. Sorry If I'm being gruff, but we've gotten past the call-everyone-every-week-before-every-meeting hand holding stage of our organization.
and now to counter the gruffness; the information you requested: weekly, we are holding three meetings: Voice on Wednesday, Gamelon on Thursday, and Production on Friday. Each meeting begins at 8, and continues through 10, with the exception of Friday which has no official end time. These are subject to change from week to week, but for the time being should be assumed to be happening unless otherwise stated. this week there is a meeting on Tuesday for recording purposes at Daimen & Diana's house. There is talk that the Wednesday meetings will be discontinued. too bad really; but without more enthusiastic interest, Loki is left hurting and yearning at the end of the meeting.
so stay tuned, and the info about where to show and when will make itself available here; then the question is will, not how.

Re: getting involved?
Tue, July 6, 2004 - 8:35 PMYes, come on out Thursday if you want to be in the show on the 17th. Your part would probably involve you learning a small musical part, creating/wearing a costume and taking part in the 20 min performance.. The Terminus outline is posted, so you can get an idea..

Mon, August 2, 2004 - 1:14 PMHEEEEYYYYY DEBRA
Now would be a *great* time to start checking things out; we're between shows and there's less of a deadline-crunching-vibe and more of an experimental learning-our-way-to-the-next-thing feeling in effect. Come play!
